Want to see what a college looks like for yourself? Then go along to an Open Day at a college near you. Most full-time and part-time college courses start in August and last for one academic year. There are also some courses that start in January and usually run for 18 weeks. To help promote these courses, colleges open their doors so that people can come along and see what college is really like. Open days are a great way to meet friendly staff to discuss your course options and give you the chance to speak to the Student Advice Team who can give you information about finance, childcare and any other questions you may have about college life.
